Privacy Policy
Artispreneur is a platform for independent artists to run their music business. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what control you have over it. It is written to be read, not to be impenetrable.
What we collect
- Account information — your name, email address and the artist handle you choose.
- Profile content — your bio, genres, city, images, music links, press mentions and booking contacts. This is published on your public profile by design.
- Business records — information you enter into our wizards, such as EIN and business formation details, and documents your managers generate for you.
- Catalog data — your releases, metadata, splits and ownership records.
- Messages — enquiries sent to you through your profile, so we can deliver them.
- Usage data — basic technical logs needed to operate and secure the service.
What we do with it
We use your data to run the platform: to publish the profile you asked us to publish, to let your AI managers do the work you asked them to do, to deliver messages sent to you, and to keep the service secure and working.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your music, lyrics or catalog data to train third-party AI models.
AI processing
Some features send content you provide to third-party AI providers so they can generate a draft — for example, drafting a bio from details you supply, or drafting outreach copy. Only the information relevant to that request is sent. We do not send your financial records or stored documents to those providers unless a feature you invoke explicitly requires it, and we will tell you when it does.
What is public
Your artist profile is public by design — that is its purpose. Anything you enter into the profile editor and publish can be seen by anyone with the link, and may be indexed by search engines. Your business records, financial data, catalog and documents are private and are never published.
Service providers
We use third parties to operate the platform — hosting and serverless compute, database storage, email delivery, and AI model providers. They process data on our instructions and only as needed to provide their service.
Your choices
- Edit or remove anything on your public profile at any time from the profile editor.
- Unpublish your profile so it is no longer publicly visible.
- Request a copy of your data, or ask us to delete your account and its contents.
To request an export or deletion, email privacy@artispreneur.com from the address on your account. We will confirm within 30 days.
Retention
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account we remove your personal data, except where we are required to retain records — for example, transaction records we must keep for tax purposes.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit. We never store raw banking credentials; where a feature connects to a bank it does so through a provider that handles authentication for us. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you promptly if a breach affects you.
Children
Artispreneur is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes
If we make a material change to this policy we will update the date above and notify account holders by email before it takes effect.
