Alex Rivera is a Chicago-based Indie R&B and Soul artist known for blending emotionally raw lyricism with lush, layered production. Growing up on the South Side, Alex found music as both a refuge and a calling — spending teenage years recording demos in a converted basement studio before releasing independently at 19.

Since then, Alex has amassed over 2 million streams across platforms, performed at iconic Chicago venues including Schubas, The Hideout, and the Chicago Blues Festival, and toured regionally across the Midwest. The sound sits at the intersection of classic soul and modern alternative — think Frank Ocean meets Lianne La Havas with a distinctly Chicago edge.
